Miller Electric Construction is hiring an Electrical Field Layout Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for training and technical assistance with robotic total stations and GPS tools used in field layout
• Organize and deliver layout training sessions for project teams to prepare them before fieldwork begins
• Offer real-time troubleshooting both on-site and remotely for layout processes, hardware, and data integration
• Collaborate with survey teams and project staff to set up and confirm control points, gridlines, and reference markers
• Evaluate field layout methods to ensure they meet project specifications and drawing requirements
• Help verify that layout data matches approved digital models and actual site conditions
• Conduct field layout tasks when necessary to support project demands
• Analyze digital models, layout plans, and construction blueprints to clarify scope for field personnel
• Confirm that all layout points and procedures align with the latest coordinated model and approved construction documents
• Advise teams on best practices to minimize layout errors and avoid rework
