EssenceMediacom is hiring an Elasticsearch Engineer to take a central role in building and developing a modern search and analytics infrastructure. You will focus on developing a new package for efficient deployment of Elasticsearch components and building/configuring user-friendly dashboards for data visualization.
What You'll Do
- Develop a new package for efficient rollout of Elasticsearch components.
- Build and configure user-friendly dashboards for data visualization.
- Optimize existing Elasticsearch environments regarding performance, scalability, and security.
- Work closely with internal departments to gather requirements and translate them into functional reporting solutions.
- Document your work and hand it over to operations.
What We're Looking For
- Several years of practical experience with Elasticsearch and related components like Kibana, Logstash, or Beats.
- Solid expertise in data analysis, monitoring, and dashboard creation.
- Good knowledge of Linux environments and basic understanding of networks and IT security.
- Independent, structured way of working and high solution orientation.
- Very good German or English language skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in packaging and automating software solutions (e.g., with Ansible, Docker, Shell Scripting, etc.).
