Moog was looking for an EDM Machinist I - 2nd Shift

Join Moog as an EDM Machinist I on 2nd Shift. In this hands-on role, you will operate Sinker or Wire EDM machines to produce precision parts from blueprints and process instructions. You’ll be part of a performance culture that empowers people to achieve great things.

What You'll Do

  • Work from blueprints, process instructions, and/or verbal instructions.
  • Following a training period, operate a Sinker or Wire EDM Machine.
  • Perform inspection of all work using a variety of measuring equipment.
  • Actively collaborate with other team members to problem solve within your work area.

What We're Looking For

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a general machinist.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow an escalation path as it applies to machining.
  • Familiarity using various measuring equipment, including Micrometers and Dial Bore Gauges.
  • Competency in reading and interpreting blueprints and written work instructions.
  • Ability to work an off-shift and/or train on a shift other than the hired shift.
  • Enrollment and participation in the company's F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program is required.
