As an eCommerce Planning Analyst, you will translate complex data into actionable insights that shape Saucony’s online business strategy. Your work will directly influence forecasting, inventory management, and promotional planning by identifying trends, measuring performance, and recommending data-backed actions.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain forecasting models to support strategic decision-making across the eCommerce lifecycle.
- Generate, verify, and distribute recurring and on-demand reports, delivering clear summaries of performance metrics to leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Monitor weekly performance in demand, margin, discounting, and inventory turnover, comparing results to forecasts and historical benchmarks.
- Review seasonal performance by color and size, identifying variances from plan and providing insights to improve future accuracy.
- Support the development of promotional strategies using pricing, discount, and inventory data to maximize sales and profitability.
- Identify end-of-life inventory, coordinate its removal from digital channels, and facilitate clearance through designated outlets.
- Collaborate with teams across functions to align planning objectives with broader business initiatives and ensure data consistency.
- Uphold company policies related to equal employment opportunity and inclusive practices in all aspects of work.
- Complete additional tasks as needed to support the planning function and organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in an analytical role, with preference given to those in eCommerce or digital retail environments.
- Proficiency in Excel and other PC-based applications for data manipulation and reporting.
- Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings clearly and concisely.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Collaborative approach with proven experience working effectively across teams.
