Remote Talent LATAM is hiring an E-commerce Creative Director to lead the creative strategy and design execution for product imagery on Amazon and other marketplaces. You will connect creative decisions directly to measurable performance outcomes, manage a small design team, and own client relationships for creative projects.
What You'll Do
- Lead creative strategy and own vision for product imagery and creative optimization across Amazon and other marketplaces.
- Develop sequencing frameworks prioritizing click-through rate (CTR) and conversion rate (CVR) improvement.
- Serve as the primary creative contact for client-facing projects, leading meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
- Translate data and insights into visually impactful recommendations for clients.
- Produce high-impact visuals personally while overseeing the work of one to two designers.
- Guide designers in creating product imagery, A+ content, brand stores, and advertising visuals.
- Use performance data and Voice of Customer feedback to continually improve imagery.
- Build and manage testing plans that link design decisions to measurable outcomes.
- Plan, execute, and analyze A/B image tests to identify what drives engagement and conversion.
- Collaborate with advertising and operations teams on cross-functional testing initiatives.
- Develop and maintain creative strategy documents, including image sequencing plans, testing roadmaps, and creative audits.
- Work closely with Marketing and Seller Operations Managers to align creative decisions with ad strategy and product positioning.
- Coordinate ad hoc during product launches and monthly optimization cycles.
- Establish design standards, creative SOPs, and feedback loops for consistent quality and efficient workflows.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional design experience.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in e-commerce.
- 1+ year of experience in the Amazon ecosystem or similar.
- Proven ability to connect creative strategy with data and understand metrics like CTR, CVR, and sales lift.
- Deep knowledge of how image order, content, and visual design affect click-through and conversion performance.
- Proficiency adapting to and working within established brand guidelines while maintaining creative problem-solving.
- Mobile-first design mindset with expertise in creating responsive, visually impactful content optimized for mobile shoppers.
- Exceptional eye for detail, composition, typography, and color with ability to create strategic, striking designs.
- Experience managing designers and collaborating cross-functionally with marketers, copywriters, and operations teams.
- Expertise in e-commerce visual storytelling, composition, and layout.
- Exceptional level of English with ability to understand and communicate complex business topics.
- Must reside in a Latin American (LATAM) country.
- Must submit an e-commerce-focused portfolio demonstrating relevant experience.
Technical Stack
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent design software.
Team & Environment
You will lead a small team of 1-2 designers and collaborate with copywriters while working cross-functionally with advertising and operations teams.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $3,000 USD Monthly
- Vacation includes 15 paid working days (3 weeks)
Work Mode
This is a 100% remote position. You must be located in a Latin American country (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela).
