About the Role

The role involves guiding students through their Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) projects and practicum, ensuring they meet academic and professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver course materials for DNP projects and practicum.
  • Provide individualized support to students throughout their projects and practicum.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Facilitate student learning through virtual platforms and tools.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure curriculum alignment.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DNP project and practicum requirements.
  • Ensure students adhere to academic integrity and professional standards.
  • Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the DNP program.
  • Support students in developing their project and practicum goals.
  • Provide guidance on research methodologies and project management.
  • Assist students in navigating the complexities of their projects and practicum.
  • Monitor student progress and intervene when necessary to ensure success.
  • Offer support and resources to students facing challenges in their projects and practicum.
  • Ensure that students meet all program requirements and deadlines.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to students in their professional development.
  • Facilitate group discussions and collaborative learning experiences.
  • Encourage students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations.
  • Provide feedback on project proposals, progress reports, and final presentations.
  • Assist students in preparing for their final project presentations and defenses.
  • Support students in developing their professional portfolios.
  • Ensure that students are prepared for their future roles as nursing professionals.
