Prematch is looking for a Dispatch Team Lead to lead our dispatch operations and ensure smooth supply chain activities. In this role, you will manage dispatch procedures, training, and compliance within our values-driven, multinational company.
What You'll Do
- Lead, support, and provide performance management for a team of 5 dispatch staff
- Oversee dispatch procedures and resolve operational challenges related to orders, pallets, and scheduling
- Maintain accurate records in SAP and Pallet software
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (COR) laws and site safety standards
- Develop and manage rosters and act as a point of contact for after-hours support
- Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in Dispatch/Logistics and Supervisory roles is essential
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing challenging team members
- Knowledge of COR compliance requirements
- Ability to work autonomously and make decisions under pressure
Nice to Have
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel) and experience with SAP preferred
