About the Role
This position is responsible for leading the architecture, implementation, and ongoing support of directory services, ensuring high availability, security, and alignment with enterprise IT strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable Active Directory environments across on-premises and hybrid infrastructures.
- Lead the integration and configuration of Microsoft Entra for identity and access management.
- Develop strategies for directory synchronization between on-premises and cloud platforms.
- Ensure secure identity federation and single sign-on capabilities across applications.
- Maintain high availability and disaster recovery for directory services.
- Monitor and optimize directory performance and replication health.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards within directory configurations.
- Collaborate with security teams to detect and remediate identity-related threats.
- Support identity lifecycle management across enterprise systems.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex directory service issues.
- Architect solutions for multi-forest and cross-domain trust relationships.
- Implement role-based access controls within directory frameworks.
- Guide migration projects involving directory consolidation or cloud transition.
- Document architecture designs, operational procedures, and system configurations.
- Provide technical leadership during audits and compliance reviews.
- Evaluate emerging identity technologies for potential integration.
- Work with application teams to integrate directory services into new solutions.
