Agoda is hiring a Director, Supply & Properties Counsel (Bangkok-based, Relocation Provided)

Responsibilities

  • Manage legal affairs related to supply and property management.
  • Provide legal guidance on supply chain and property transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international property laws.
  • Negotiate and draft contracts for property acquisitions and leases.
  • Advise on property-related disputes and litigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement legal policies and procedures for property management.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on property and supply chain issues.
  • Manage external legal counsel and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for property management.
  • Provide legal support for property development and construction projects.
  • Advise on property-related risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations for properties.
  • Manage legal aspects of property maintenance and operations.
  • Provide legal support for property acquisitions and divestments.
  • Advise on property-related tax implications and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws for property management.
  • Provide legal support for property-related insurance and indemnity issues.
  • Advise on property-related intellectual property and licensing issues.
  • Ensure compliance with anti-corruption and bribery laws for property management.
  • Provide legal support for property-related environmental impact assessments.
  • Advise on property-related sustainability and green building initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor and employment laws for property management.

What You'll Do
