About the Role

The Structural Engineering Director will spearhead the structural engineering team, focusing on energy projects. This role involves managing a team of engineers, ensuring technical excellence, and driving project success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the structural engineering team.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of structural systems for energy projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies and standards.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project goals.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Conduct peer reviews of engineering designs and calculations.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of engineering deliverables.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Manage resource allocation and project scheduling.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Participate in business development activities.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Provide input on project proposals and bids.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and review project documentation.
  • Provide technical support to field operations.
  • Ensure the accuracy of engineering calculations and designs.

  • Advanced degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Experience in renewable energy projects.

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP).

  • Experience in leading large-scale engineering projects.
