About the Role
You will define and operationalize a forward-thinking QA vision that embeds quality into every phase of product development, from design to deployment, while leading automation transformation and cross-functional collaboration to elevate product excellence.
Responsibilities
- Establish and implement a holistic quality assurance strategy covering hardware, embedded systems, and cloud-based applications
- Define clear quality benchmarks across the full product stack, from edge devices to cloud analytics platforms
- Champion early integration of quality practices within design and development cycles
- Modernize outdated manual testing processes by building scalable, automated testing systems
- Lead the selection, deployment, and continuous improvement of test automation tools and frameworks
- Ensure testing protocols cover both software functionality and hardware interoperability within CI/CD environments
- Apply advanced AI techniques to enhance speed and effectiveness of test automation
- Integrate automated hardware and software testing into continuous integration pipelines
- Guarantee that every code commit is validated for software correctness and hardware compatibility, including deployment to edge devices
- Collaborate with hardware, DevOps, and product teams to synchronize quality objectives with development and manufacturing timelines
- Define and monitor key performance indicators such as defect escape rate, mean time between failures, and test coverage
- Deliver clear, business-relevant quality reports to executive leadership
- Implement consistent reporting practices to strengthen operational discipline across QA teams
Compensation
Base salary range of $190,000 to $220,000, plus equity and benefits; actual offer depends on skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
