Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a unified global PR and communications strategy spanning earned media, thought leadership, and pivotal company milestones.
- Refine and advance the organization's core narrative, messaging framework, and market positioning within the cybersecurity and artificial intelligence sectors.
- Create comprehensive communications strategies that support product releases, marketing campaigns, funding announcements, and major industry events such as RSA and Black Hat.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to strengthen their external profiles across media appearances, public speaking, social platforms, and published articles.
- Design executive communication platforms that highlight strategic perspectives and reinforce leadership in the company's market category.
- Prepare leadership for high-impact interactions including media interviews, keynote addresses, and communications during sensitive situations.
- Oversee regional PR agency partnerships, guiding strategy and evaluating performance outcomes.
- Set strategic priorities, manage agency budgets, and ensure all external outputs support organizational objectives and brand consistency.
- Define measurable KPIs and ensure external partners deliver against defined results.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Demand Generation, Channels, and People to align messaging across all touchpoints.
- Serve as the central hub for consistent external communication across press, digital platforms, social media, and customer-facing materials.
- Develop and maintain protocols for crisis communication, including response planning and execution.
- Advise executive leadership during high-risk or sensitive situations with strategic communications guidance.
- Ensure timely, coherent, and appropriate messaging for both internal and external audiences during critical moments.
- Drive the strategy and implementation of analyst relations initiatives to increase recognition and validation of the company's market position.
- Expand analyst engagement to include additional research firms and industry analysts.
- Establish clear success metrics for PR and communications efforts, including media share of voice, message adoption, executive visibility, and impact on sales pipeline.
- Use data and insights to continuously improve communications strategy, messaging effectiveness, and resource prioritization.
