Allbirds is hiring a Director, Paid Media to be the hands-on leader driving profitable growth across our paid marketing funnel. You'll balance day-to-day execution with high-level strategy, managing media budgets, a small team, and external partners to achieve acquisition, retention, and efficiency goals.
What You'll Do
- Directly manage and optimize campaigns across all paid channels, including Search, Social, Display, Affiliates, and CTV.
- Own the paid media strategy and aid in-platform execution, covering bidding, targeting, budget allocation, placements, and creative performance.
- Build and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual media plans tied to key business objectives.
- Lead structured creative testing within platforms to identify what messaging and formats drive performance.
- Partner closely with the creative team to develop and refine platform-native advertising.
- Use first-party data and CRM insights to sharpen targeting and improve measurement.
- Manage and mentor a small in-house team while remaining actively involved in campaign execution.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of paid media experience at high-growth eCommerce or DTC brands.
- Deep, hands-on expertise managing campaigns directly in Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Proven comfort moving between strategy and hands-on execution.
- Skilled in creative testing with a track record of extracting actionable insights that inform performance and brand storytelling.
- Strong creative intuition and the ability to translate data into clear, creative direction.
- Experience in incrementality testing and MMM.
- A proven record of driving measurable growth in acquisition and iROAS while building brand connection.
- Analytical, curious, and adaptable to fast-moving environments.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
