We're recruiting a **Director of Product Design** to enhance user experience quality, develop our design framework, pioneer AI-integrated interactions, and construct a high-performing Design team. **Here's how you'll make a difference:** **Elevate UX quality & platform coherence** - Enhance existing UX quality methodologies and elevate standards across critical interfaces. - Implement incremental, significant improvements to interaction models, usability, and uniformity. **Shape early AI-native, Adaptive Defence experiences** - Collaborate with Product and Engineering to establish user-focused AI principles. - Guide prototype development and initial concepts for AI assistants, adaptive dashboards, and contextual support. **Evolve and increase adoption of our design system** - Manage and advance our current design framework; improve governance, consistency, and engineering integration. - Focus on pragmatic enhancements that streamline delivery and improve coherence. **Build and define the Design organisation** - Establish team roles, organizational structure, and professional development strategies. - Mentor and develop existing Design Leadership; implement effective design practices. **Strengthen trio collaboration and build–test–learn loops** - Ensure Design engagement during early discovery; encourage rapid prototyping and hypothesis-driven iteration. - Assist teams in adopting more iterative, evidence-based decision-making approaches. **What makes you a great fit:** - **3+ years of design leadership**, managing teams of **5+ designers**. - 7–10+ years in product/UX design, preferably in B2B SaaS. - Proven experience improving UX quality and consistency in complex products. - Track record of evolving and driving design system adoption. - Strong product strategy and cross-functional influence. - A "player–coach" mentality. - Experience with AI-assisted workflows. **Nice-to-haves** - Enterprise/security domain exposure. - Experience mentoring design leads. - Experience leading accessible product design. **What success looks like (12–18 months)** - Significantly improved UX quality and coherence in priority workflows. - Robust, consistently adopted design system with clear governance. - Initial AI-assisted workflows shipped or validated. - Clear Design organizational structure with strong team engagement. - Design recognized as a strategic, outcome-oriented partner to Product Management & Engineering. **What we offer** - Work/Life balance: Flexible hours, 33 vacation days - Wellbeing and financial support: Access to support resources, corporate discounts - Connection & community: Virtual events, collaborative team activities, local meet-up opportunities - Additional perks: Tech equipment, referral bonuses, pet-friendly headquarters **About Us** We're dedicated to making the digital landscape safer by addressing human factors in cybersecurity.
