Responsibilities
- Own the Product Lifecycle: Define what we build, drive the roadmap, and ensure work moves from idea → shipped → adopted
- Talk to Customers: Spend time with dealers, observe workflows, and turn real-world friction into product improvements
- Define Requirements: Write clear, concise specs and acceptance criteria so engineering can move quickly without ambiguity
- Drive Execution: Break work into small increments, remove blockers, and ensure consistent delivery and smooth launches
- Own Integrations: Work directly with DMS vendors and partners to translate APIs and workflows into scalable product capabilities
- Drive Adoption & Retention: Define success metrics, track usage, and improve features post-launch to increase dealer engagement and reduce churn
- Make Data-Driven Decisions: Use customer feedback and product data to prioritize work and refine the roadmap
- Support Go-to-Market: Create simple enablement materials (training guides, videos, email explainers) so dealers understand and use new features
- Stay Ahead of the Market: Track competitors and emerging automotive software to keep Curbee a step ahead
Requirements
- Proven product operator (8+ years)
- Deep automotive dealership experience
- Strong at problem framing, not just writing specs
- Comfortable working side-by-side with engineering
- Experience with integrations and partner-driven products
- Data-informed and outcome-focused
- High ownership, low ego
- Comfortable in a fast-moving startup
- Strong communicator
