Endress+Hauser is looking for a Digitalization Senior Engineer to manage the full lifecycle of digital transformation initiatives. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and integrating industrial automation systems while spearheading data security and tool development.
What You'll Do
- Own the full lifecycle of digitalization projects, from initiation and planning to development, pilot testing, and company-wide rollout.
- Establish and implement data protection strategies to ensure enterprise data security.
- Produce visualized reports and actionable insights from data analysis, tracking and driving continuous improvements.
- Develop automation tools and be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and optimization of operation support platforms.
- Lead the design, hardware selection, software configuration, and integration testing of industrial automation and process control systems to ensure efficient and reliable production line operation.
- Manage industrial networks and devices, including architecture design, configuration, and daily operations of industrial PCs, routers, firewalls, and other equipment to ensure stability.
- Integrate MES systems, databases, and local production equipment to enable seamless data flow and system collaboration.
What We're Looking For
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols like OPCUA, MQTT, and EtherNet/IP, with relevant hands-on experience.
- Practical project experience in automation technology and machine integration.
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems, and mastery of development languages like Python and Golang, with extensive experience in system troubleshooting and optimization.
- Strong English communication skills to collaborate effectively with global headquarters teams.
- Proactive problem-solving approach with excellent analytical abilities.
