Postmedia is seeking a Digital Editor for The Windsor Star to lead the digital operations of Windsorstar.com. In this role, you will be a nimble team member in our fast-paced news cycle, working directly with reporters in the field and focusing on speed and online readership growth.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily operations and content on the Windsorstar.com website.
- Collaborate and communicate closely with reporters in Windsor and Essex County.
- Craft compelling and effective SEO headlines.
- Handle difficult conversations and editing, guiding others to meet digital priorities.
- Flexibly juggle assignments, editing duties, and generating ideas for content that attracts and retains readers.
- Work closely with the managing editor and uphold the newsroom's mission.
