Alstom is hiring a full-time DevOps Engineer in Bangkok. You will play a critical role in ensuring our systems and processes are efficient, robust, and reliable. This position focuses on automation testing processes, DevOps infrastructure setup, enhancing software quality, and ensuring seamless integration and deployment workflows.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain automation testing frameworks using Robot Framework with Python.
- Perform various testing methods, including Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, Exploratory Testing, and Robustness Testing.
- Write Test Cases using Test Case Design Techniques and ensure effective Validation and Verification processes.
- Create and manage V&V documentation, such as Functional Test Specifications, Requirement Traceability Matrices, User Manuals, and Release Notes.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, working closely with teams across the business, including software developers, project managers, and quality assurance specialists.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing (Robot Framework with Python).
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or related field.
- Proficiency in Linux, Shell Script, Python, and Git.
- Understanding of Validation and Verification processes.
- Familiarity with automated document generation using Python or other frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of embedded systems and networking.
- Experience with Agile Development processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a proactive and solution-driven attitude, and adaptability to dynamic environments.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in software design and programming.
Technical Stack
- Robot Framework, Python, Linux, Shell Script, Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
