Bitdeer Technologies Group is hiring a DevOps Engineer to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, build cloud-native infrastructure, and ensure system stability and security. You will collaborate closely with R&D, Security, and Business teams to improve engineering productivity and platform reliability.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, covering code build, automated testing, deployment, and rollback processes.
- Build and optimize cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes and Docker to achieve standardized application delivery and elastic scaling.
- Responsible for the architecture design of production environments, including disaster recovery, self-healing mechanisms, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Drive IaC practices using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm to ensure automation, consistency, and auditability.
- Establish and refine monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK) to enhance system observability.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Security, and Business teams to continuously improve engineering productivity.
- Define and implement system stability and security standards, including release workflows, access control (RBAC), secret management, and compliance requirements.
- Act as the technical lead during complex issues and major incidents, spearheading troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and long-term remediation strategies.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering or operations.
- At least 3–5 years specifically in DevOps or SRE practices.
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems and networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Load Balancing).
- Deep expertise in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration, with a solid understanding of underlying principles and production-grade best practices.
- Hands-on experience with major public or hybrid cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, Alibaba Cloud).
- Proficiency in at least one major programming or scripting language (Go, Python, Shell, etc.), with a strong engineering mindset.
- Systematic understanding of CI/CD, IaC, observability, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies.
- Excellent problem-decomposition skills, technical judgment, and cross-team communication abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems or high-concurrency environments (e.g., Fintech, Trading systems, Real-time systems).
- Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) or platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solutions.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture, security automation, or compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001).
- Experience serving as a Technical Lead or managing a DevOps team.
