The Device Engineer will create, integrate, and deploy mobile technologies—including devices, applications, and unified endpoint management systems—to deliver comprehensive solutions. This role involves applying functional and industry expertise to resolve problems of moderate scope and complexity, working independently with occasional oversight, and potentially guiding less experienced team members.
Responsibilities
- Design, integrate, and deploy mobile technologies such as mobile devices, applications, and unified endpoint management systems
- Deliver end-to-end technical solutions using functional and industry-specific knowledge
- Support the development of solutions for issues with moderate complexity and scope
- Work autonomously with limited supervision
- Review or mentor junior staff members as needed
Requirements
- Experience with Samsung devices, Android OS, or Windows-based endpoints and operating systems
- Hands-on experience with Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), Mobile Device Management (MDM), or Enterprise Mobile Management (EMM), including policy and control integration
- Proven background in testing and deploying applications on Android or Windows endpoints
- Ability to troubleshoot common infrastructure problems, such as network outages
- Capable of hardening and testing endpoints in compliance with DoD standards, including DoD STIGs and CSfC requirements
- Skilled in writing, executing, and presenting client-ready test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Must hold a Secret clearance
- High school diploma or GED with at least 8 years of DoD environment experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience
- Possession of Security+ certification
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and experience creating DoD Architecture Framework diagrams using Microsoft Visio or PowerPoint
- Understanding of PKI concepts and practical experience with certificate management
- Knowledge of DoD-released Mobile Operating System STIGs
- Experience supporting Windows and Linux server infrastructures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting to senior-level stakeholders
- Hold a Top Secret clearance
- Completion of the DoD Public Key Infrastructure Registration Authority (RA) Course

Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
