Insight Enterprises is hiring a Developer Lead to transform raw data into meaningful insights that empower stakeholders across the organization. In this role, you will blend technical expertise with analytical thinking to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that drive data-driven decision making.
What You'll Do
- Act as a hands-on subject matter expert, architecting end-to-end BI solutions from raw data and semantic models through to final dashboards.
- Design, build, optimize, and maintain Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and visualizations using strong data modeling best practices.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting, validate data accuracy, and ensure high-performance, scalable solutions.
- Translate business requirements into intuitive analytics, implementing row-level security, governance standards, and performance tuning.
- Partner closely with stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making, troubleshoot issues, and serve as a trusted technical advisor with opportunities to mentor and grow into a lead role.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of experience in architecting solutions.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with data modeling concepts such as star schema, normalization, and relationships.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and communicate insights effectively.
- Familiarity with version control and deployment processes.
- Stakeholder engagement skills.
