This role involves designing, testing, and maintaining software programs for operating systems or applications to be deployed at the client end, ensuring 100% quality assurance parameters. What You'll Do
- Understand requirements and design of the product or software to develop effective solutions.
- Investigate problem areas following the software development life cycle and facilitate root cause analysis.
- Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability.
- Analyze client requirements and convert them to feasible technical designs.
- Collaborate with functional teams or systems analysts on software requirements.
- Confer with project managers to obtain information on software capabilities.
- Perform coding and ensure optimal software or module development.
- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, and requirements.
- Develop and automate processes for software validation by designing and executing test cases.
- Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces.
- Ensure code is error-free and test for failures.
- Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status.
- Ensure all code changes are raised as per defined norms with clear descriptions.
- Compile timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation and reports.
- Coordinate with the team on daily project status and progress.
- Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace results to quality risks, and report to stakeholders.
- Capture all requirements and clarifications from the client for quality work.
- Take feedback regularly to ensure smooth and on-time delivery.
- Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices.
- Consult with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications.
- Document and demonstrate solutions through documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and clear code.
- Ensure quality interaction with customers regarding email content, fault report tracking, and business etiquette.
- Provide timely responses to customer requests and avoid complaints.
What We're Looking For
- 5-8 years of relevant software development experience.
- Mandatory skill: Informatica iPaas.
