About the Role

The United Nations Federal Credit Union is hiring a Full Stack Developer to support our digital strategy and business operations. You will design, develop, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable web and mobile applications that improve the experience of our members and employees. This role builds and supports internal and external digital platforms, including public websites, intranet, extranet, and digital banking applications.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade websites and applications using Microsoft technologies including C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC.
  • Build and support enterprise applications using n-tier architecture and established design patterns within the Microsoft technology stack.
  • Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, ReactJS, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Collaborate with UX designers and stakeholders to deliver intuitive digital experiences.
  • Utilize design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite to support UI/UX design validation, usability testing, and iterative design improvements.
  • Design and implement SOAP and RESTful APIs using Microsoft technologies including WCF and ASP.NET Web API.
  • Integrate applications with backend systems and services using .NET, OLE DB, and other enterprise data access technologies.
  • Ensure secure, scalable, and reliable system integrations across internal and external platforms.
  • Collaborate with database developers to support data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization.
  • Contribute to database development tasks using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle as required.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Manage development activities using Team Foundation Server (TFS), Azure DevOps, or other enterprise project management tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Marketing and IT— including Project Management, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Database Administration—as well as onsite and offshore resources.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, performance tuning, and code refactoring to ensure high-quality and maintainable software.
  • Adhere to organizational coding standards, documentation requirements, and secure development practices.
  • Maintain accurate task tracking, code changes, and version control using Git or other enterprise source control systems.
  • Support and enhance internal and external digital platforms, including intranet, extranet, public websites, and digital banking applications.
  • Ensure applications meet availability, reliability, and performance standards in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support for application-related issues and user requests.
  • Serve as backup administrator for Windows-based web servers when required.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies related to data protection, cybersecurity, network security, and antivirus standards.
  • Maintain accurate service records, system documentation, configuration documentation, and knowledge base articles.
  • Contribute to operational documentation and system runbooks supporting application environments.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of software development experience on the Microsoft technology stack.
  • 5+ years of backend development experience using C#, .NET / .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Razor, and ADO.NET.
  • 5+ years of front-end development experience building responsive and interactive user interfaces using JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap (or similar frameworks).
  • Experience designing and implementing user-centric web applications, with a strong focus on usability and overall UI/UX experience.
  • 3+ years of database development experience.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of the financial or banking industry.
  • Experience with Optimizely CMS/Commerce and Digital Experience Platform (DXP).

Benefits & Compensation

  • Annual salary range of $105,468 - $135,168, with compensation commensurate with geographic location.
