Toradex is looking for a Developer Advocate and Technology Evangelist to build awareness, trust, and enthusiasm for Toradex and Torizon among developers and technical decision‑makers. You will be the visible technical voice for our platform, engaging directly with the community while recruiting and supporting external experts.
What You'll Do
- Represent Toradex and Torizon in talks, webinars, meet‑ups, podcasts, and videos targeting developers and technical leaders.
- Turn complex technical topics like Torizon, security, cloud integration, and EU CRA readiness into clear, compelling narratives.
- Create or co‑create example storylines and use‑cases that educate and inspire developers.
- Collaborate with the Ecosystem and Growth team to build developer‑facing campaigns.
- Own and operate the Evangelist Program end‑to‑end.
- Identify, prioritize, and recruit evangelists such as bloggers, YouTubers, podcasters, partners, customers, and educators.
- Onboard and brief evangelists, co‑plan talks and content, and maintain a consistent cadence of collaborations.
- Coordinate investments in evangelists, including hardware, early access, deep‑dive sessions, and co‑marketing.
- Track and communicate the impact of the program through mentions, talks, content volume, reach, and sentiment.
- Support the Toradex Proven Partner Network from the advocacy and awareness side.
- Work with Partner Management, Developer Experience, and Marketing to create joint narratives and content with partners.
- Elevate selected partners as co‑evangelists in their domains to reinforce core messages.
- Create and maintain enablement material for evangelists, partners, and internal teams, including talk outlines, slide decks, and FAQs.
- Gather feedback and insights from developer communities and share them with Product, Product Marketing, Developer Experience, and Partner teams.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Technical Evangelism, or Product Marketing with a strong developer‑facing component.
- Proven experience speaking to developers at conferences, meetups, webinars, live streams, or through technical blogs, podcasts, or video content.
- Strong ability to translate technical topics into clear, engaging stories for technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience building or nurturing technical communities like developer forums, OSS projects, or meet‑ups.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally with Product Marketing, Product, Developer Experience, Sales, and Partner Management.
- Data‑informed mindset with the ability to track and report the impact of evangelism and awareness activities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in embedded systems, IoT, or related B2B technology markets.
- Hands‑on experience building demos or prototypes, for example in C/C++, Python, or using containers.
- Experience designing or running evangelist/influencer programs or partner co‑marketing initiatives.
