The United Football League (UFL) seeks a Designer to develop bath and beach products, including towels, rugs, and mats, for Revman Brands. You'll be responsible for increasing design efficiency and creating compelling presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Design bath products, including bath towels, bath rugs, bath mats, and beach towels, for assigned Revman Brands.
- Increase design development capability while shortening concept creation timeframes.
- Work with the Bath Designer to develop all artwork needs, including concepts, layouts, repeats, colorings, and coordinates.
- Communicate with vendors to accomplish product designs for Revman Market Collections and private label to meet deadlines.
- Create design specifications and standards for the production of active projects.
- Maintain an accurate design file system for ongoing projects.
- Update the Product Manager on project status and coordinate with Product Tech as needed.
- Work with the Bath Designer to produce Revman Market Bath Collections to meet buyers' quarterly timeframes.
- Meet pre-production deadlines for 'SOLD' items, including reviewing and approving samples.
- Address inter-office duties and communications with customers, vendors, and licensors in a timely fashion.
- Provide product designs and meeting materials for internal and external meetings by working closely with Sales and Merchandising staff.
- Maintain awareness of current design trends through industry publications, magazines, and customer visits.
- Review development samples and communicate revisions and approvals to the mill.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BFA in Design, Textile Design, or a related major (Textiles, Product Development, Home Fashions, or Apparel).
- Experience with weaving and general knowledge of how fabrics and materials are woven and dyed.
- One to two years of Home Fashions experience with CAD and related product development.
- Strong working knowledge and proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Documented experience in the Design field from both college and work.
- Strong color sense and knowledge of current trends and lifestyle brand aesthetics.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and successfully prioritize workload.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize work, be self-motivated, and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Experience in product design and specification for manufacture.
