We're hunting for a self-driven graphic designer to join our creative crew. As a Designer at Darkroom, you'll be the mastermind behind developing email, marketing collateral, and landing pages. Our designers don't just create – they add serious value to our clients' work through killer design and strategy. We want someone who's passionate about using design to tell compelling stories and help businesses grow.
This is a fully remote role supporting a team in the EST time zone and is open to candidates based in Brazil, Portugal, and Spain.
You'll be responsible for ideating and designing assets across marketing channels for client accounts: email & SMS, paid ads, and landing pages.
Depending on the gig, you might juggle multiple accounts or dive deep into a single client's world.
What you'll do
Design digital assets supporting a range of client marketing initiatives briefed by Marketing Managers: email & SMS design, paid ad design, landing page design, and more.
Develop a razor-sharp understanding of what drives converting creative across different marketing channels and execute designs within established best practices.
Maintain and execute multiple design systems and style guides, ensuring rock-solid consistency in client brand identity and messaging.
Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teammates, getting daily approvals and feedback to maintain top-tier craft and brand accuracy.
Take a systematic approach to design by researching, gathering references, and ensuring visual cohesion across client marketing initiatives.
Design landing pages in Figma and Builder.io, applying UI/UX best practices and design systems. Work with project managers and developers to deliver web design projects.
Keep all team members informed throughout project lifecycles.
This role reports to the Design Director and works alongside 3+ Associate Designers, each supporting 3-4 client accounts.
Who You Are
Hard Skills
Digital portfolio showcasing branding & identity, typography, and web design.
Solid understanding of design principles: layout, color theory, typography, and composition.
2+ years of proven design work experience (agency or design studio preferred)
Proficient in Figma and Adobe Suite is non-negotiable
Fluent in English (Spoken and written, able to confidently present work)
Soft Skills
Genuine kindness, respect, and humility required
Highly creative individual who's detail-oriented and adaptable across design styles
Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and translate project requirements into compelling designs
Self-motivated and proactive, with strong ownership and accountability
Systematic thinker who solves problems and manages time independently
Nice to Have
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Motion Graphics portfolio or reel (AE, Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya)
BA or higher degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts preferred
