Role Overview
This position is centered on advancing automation, artificial intelligence, and scripting capabilities to empower solution engineering and architecture teams. You will play a key role in designing and deploying intelligent systems that improve efficiency, security, and customer outcomes across hybrid infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and validate automation solutions by integrating AI, scripting, and analytics into daily engineering workflows to ensure scalability and long-term adaptability
- Develop and maintain automated processes using Python, PowerShell, and Bash to streamline operations
- Apply tools such as UiPath and Automation Anywhere to simplify complex, repetitive tasks
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platforms like Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning and management of cloud and on-premises environments
- Support sandboxing and demonstration initiatives with reliable, repeatable infrastructure configurations
- Integrate automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Azure DevOps to accelerate deployment cycles
- Build and maintain scripts that automate build, test, and deployment sequences across environments
- Ensure consistency in automation implementation from development to production
- Partner with technical teams to optimize pipeline performance, implement quality checks, and uphold continuous delivery standards
- Contribute to the creation and standardization of data lakes used across teams
- Support the development, training, and lifecycle of AI agents tailored to multi-tiered architecture needs
- Design secure, scalable data pipelines that integrate with Salesforce, Azure, or on-prem cloud platforms
- Leverage APIs and Power Platform connectors to enable seamless data flow across enterprise systems
- Ensure data integration practices comply with governance policies and support both real-time and batch processing for AI insights
- Use vendor-specific scripting APIs from Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and others to automate network setup and security workflows
- Enforce security protocols, improve threat detection, and reduce incident response times in hybrid environments
- Develop policy-based automation workflows that minimize manual intervention and increase operational speed
- Analyze customer environments using Python, R, and SQL in combination with automation tools
- Generate actionable insights and design scalable, automation-first solutions
- Collaborate across disciplines, manage ambiguity, and build trust through strong emotional intelligence
- Clearly communicate technical concepts and business impacts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Align stakeholders across the organization around shared goals and understanding
- Identify opportunities for automation, customer experience improvements, and service enhancements
- Support technical sales by demonstrating AI and automation-powered solutions
- Participate in technical evaluations, RFPs, RFIs, and design discussions to ensure customer success
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation, scripting, AI/ML, solution engineering, or technical consulting
- Proficient in scripting languages including Python, PowerShell, and Bash
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and AI/ML platforms
- Solid understanding of modern networking, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and security automation
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively and demonstrate high emotional intelligence
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity in complex technical environments
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps settings

- Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value
