Responsibilities
- Develop production-grade UI components and interactions directly in React Native, converting designs into pixel-perfect, high-performance code.
- Work closely with product designers to rapidly prototype ideas, test interactions, and refine them before full engineering handoff.
- Take ownership of the design system and component library, ensuring consistency and reusability throughout the application.
- Act as a bridge between design and engineering by identifying feasibility issues early and proposing technical solutions to design challenges.
- Enhance UI performance, animations, and micro-interactions across web, mobile, and browser extension platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering on architectural decisions that impact UI flexibility, theming, and component scalability.
- Help define and improve design-to-development workflows and tooling, such as Figma-to-code handoff and design tokens.
