Trane Technologies is offering a 12-week summer Design Engineer Intern role for current college students. This opportunity provides challenging assignments, leadership training, and direct exposure to senior leaders, focusing on areas like New Product Development, Product Design, and Process improvement.
What You'll Do
- Work on assignments in areas such as New Product Development, Product Design, Process improvement, and Process development.
- Collaborate with others to foster effective teamwork by linking your responsibilities to the team’s goals and needs.
- Rapidly resolve problems to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Establish courses of action for yourself and others to ensure work is completed efficiently, such as prioritizing tasks based on importance.
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing a BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0.
- U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice to Have
- Junior year status – having completed at least one previous internship or work experience.
- Classwork, hands-on experience and/or personal passion in any of the areas of CAD Design, Product Development, or Product Lifecycle Management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, or exceptional leadership of work projects.
