Prematch is hiring a Design Engineer who excels at both design and software implementation. You will join a team where engineers own their projects from conception to delivery, tackling our most interesting design challenges while raising the bar for our entire product.
What You'll Do
- Tackle our most challenging design problems and help others improve their designs.
- Expand and enhance our in-house design system.
- Consult on bespoke design work.
- Run your own project: research the problem, write product specs, build wireframes, and implement solutions end-to-end.
- Push information outward to relevant folks and pull in others to help.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to both design and build software.
- Strong fundamentals in debugging and understanding abstractions.
- Fast learning ability.
Nice to Have
- Love of typed languages.
- Experience switching from other languages or platforms.

You'll join a small, talented team. Engineers run their own projects with minimal process and significant ownership. You will report directly to Abhik, Co-Founder and VP of Engineering.
