Express Flooring is hiring a Design Consultant to join our sales team. This in-home sales role is for competitive professionals who excel at closing deals and exceeding goals. You will meet directly with homeowners, present flooring solutions using sample kits, and manage the entire sales process.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-home consultations, take measurements, and present solutions designed to close the sale in a single visit.
- Guide clients through provided flooring samples to help them make confident decisions.
- Present flexible financing options to simplify purchasing and finalize agreements.
- Hit sales targets by closing during the consultation while collaborating with the Express Flooring team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in in-home or outside sales.
- Self-motivation with strong organizational skills to manage your schedule and goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 55 lbs and perform tasks such as climbing stairs.
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license.
