As a Design Consultant, you will play a central role in shaping how complex ideas are understood. Your work will focus on translating economic analysis, planning concepts, and community input into well-structured, visually coherent materials that inform policy, investment, and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce client-facing deliverables including reports, presentations, and executive summaries that communicate economic and community development strategies
- Develop clear, audience-appropriate visuals such as infographics, data charts, and spatial diagrams that support decision-making
- Collaborate closely with analysts, planners, and project teams to ensure visual outputs accurately reflect technical findings
- Lead the design of proposals and business development materials for economic development and sports-related initiatives
- Create briefing documents tailored for boards, public officials, and funding partners
- Design event-related materials, including flow diagrams and movement graphics when supporting major sports or public events
- Ensure consistency in visual language across reports, digital platforms, and internal communications
- Refine and maintain design standards, templates, and toolkits used across the organization
- Support marketing and leadership in shaping visual narratives for public-facing initiatives
