At AlexStaff Agency, we are looking for a Deputy CFO to partner directly with the CFO, oversee our financial operations, and contribute to strategic decisions. This role is designed as a succession path, offering a clear trajectory toward potentially stepping into the CFO role.
What You'll Do
- Assist in developing and implementing the company’s financial strategies to support business growth and long-term goals.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to align financial resources with company objectives.
- Monitor and manage financial risks, including liquidity, credit, and market risks.
- Act as a liaison between the CFO and other departments to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Support M&A activities, fundraising, or other special projects as needed.
- Act as a change agent during organizational restructuring or process improvement efforts.
- Step in as Acting CFO during the CFO’s absence, representing the company at the executive level.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of accounting standards, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- English C1+ proficiency.
Nice to Have
- MBA, CPA, or CFA certification.
- Exposure to both operational and strategic financial management.
- Experience in M&A, fundraising, or large-scale financial transformations.
- Web3 experience.
- Experience working in Investment Funds.
- Real estate experience.
- Trading experience.
Team & Environment
