Florida Democratic Party was looking for a Democracy Summer Fellow

Responsibilities

  • Commit to fully participating in at least 4 hours a week of virtual seminars, discussions and workshops.
  • Commit to fully participating in an additional 10-15 hours a week of organizing with their campaign (primarily in-person with some remote responsibilities.)

Requirements

  • Be at least 16 years of age.

Benefits

  • A minimum of a $575 stipend from their campaign to supplement the costs of their organizing efforts.

Additional Information

  • The program will take place from Monday, June 22nd to Friday, August 7th and requires a 15-20 hour/week commitment.
  • Weekly speaker sessions will take place virtually on Mondays from 12pm-2pm ET/ 9am-11am PT. An additional two-hour interactive Zoom workshop session will be hosted at various times throughout the week. Fellows will be assigned a virtual workshop time based on their campaign and region.
  • Schedules will vary by individual campaign.
  • Applicants who apply by the priority deadline of Wednesday, April 15th will be notified of their status by the end of April.
