Rosauers Supermarkets is hiring a Deli Manager to lead and manage all aspects of our deli department operations. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for team leadership, customer service excellence, inventory management, and implementing marketing strategies to drive the department's success.
What You'll Do
- Welcome and greet customers when entering or leaving the store.
- Answer customer questions, help locate items, and provide recommendations.
- Lead, motivate and encourage the deli team to ensure quotas are met.
- Direct meetings with the leadership team to effectively plan production and promotion goals.
- Ensure the deli is adequately stocked with quality ingredients and supplies.
- Develop and implement advertising and marketing strategies to attract new customers.
- Strategically arrange deli items in display cases to encourage customer purchases.
- Inspect deli items to ensure that established standards are met.
- Track deli supplies and place orders, as needed.
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Cooperate with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform other duties to ensure the overall success of our company.
What We're Looking For
- 18+ years or older.
- Ability to submit to a background check.
- Valid Food Worker Card.
- Must be able to lift, carry and push up to 25 lbs.
