About the Role

This role is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and approving sales deals to ensure adherence to company policies, financial accuracy, and legal standards. The analyst collaborates closely with sales, legal, and finance teams to streamline deal processes and improve commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate proposed sales agreements for financial viability and policy compliance
  • Assist sales teams in structuring competitive and profitable deals
  • Review pricing models, discounting strategies, and contract terms
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory and internal governance requirements
  • Collaborate with legal and finance departments on deal documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of deal terms and approvals
  • Identify risks in proposed agreements and recommend mitigations
  • Support the negotiation of complex commercial terms
  • Track and report on deal desk performance metrics
  • Provide guidance on standard versus non-standard contract clauses
  • Facilitate approval workflows for escalated deals
  • Analyze historical deal data to inform pricing and policy decisions
  • Ensure consistency in deal structuring across regions
  • Assist in training sales representatives on deal desk processes
  • Monitor compliance with discounting and margin guidelines
  • Resolve discrepancies in deal terms between stakeholders
  • Prepare summaries of deal terms for leadership review
  • Support the implementation of deal management tools and systems
  • Contribute to the development of deal desk policies and playbooks
  • Respond to time-sensitive deal inquiries from sales teams
