Kyndryl is looking for a DB2 DBA for z/OS to play a critical role in designing, managing, and maintaining robust database systems that support our global operations.

What You'll Do

Configure, install, and maintain z/OS DB2 database systems
Manage user access and enforce data security standards
Perform database performance tuning and optimization
Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
Support application development teams with DB2 expertise
Create and manage databases and tablespaces based on project requirements
Conduct capacity planning and usage forecasting
Collaborate with global teams to align database initiatives with business goals
Propose and implement system enhancements for improved performance and reliability
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

What We're Looking For

Strong knowledge of z/OS
Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in JCL, TSO, SDSF, JES2, ISPF
Experience with DB2 Utilities: Reorg, Copy, Runstats, Load, Unload, Recovery, ReBuild
Familiarity with IBM QMF, SPUFI, DB2 Admin, and ISV tools
Expertise in DB2 Backup and Recovery
Experience with DB2 Single and Datasharing systems
Proven ability in database performance tuning and optimization
Hands-on support for application development teams
