Next Generation Inc is hiring a Dayforce Implementation Consultant

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all stages of the implementation lifecycle, including discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, and post–go-live support.
  • Gather requirements, configure the solution, manage expectations, identify risks, and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and client stakeholders.
  • Provide Organizational Readiness consulting and guidance to Associate Consultants.
  • Develop and manage project plans to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
  • Lead client discovery sessions, document business requirements, and map them to DayForce functionality.
  • Configure Ceridian DayForce modules to meet client needs.
  • Facilitate solution design, configuration, unit testing, integration testing, training, and deployment activities.
  • Conduct consulting sessions (phone, video, or in person) and prepare meeting documentation.
  • Attend internal project meetings and provide updates on tasks, deliverables, and risks.
  • Advise clients on DayForce best practices to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, client stakeholders, and third-party partners to ensure successful implementation.
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of employee data.
  • Perform data audits and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide post-deployment consulting assistance in assigned functional areas.
  • Develop SQL scripts and XML transformations for integrations and interfaces.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for assigned functional areas.
  • Support Organizational Readiness activities to prepare clients for solution rollout.
  • Review client policies periodically and recommend improvements based on industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of software implementation experience.
  • Experience with SaaS/Cloud solutions, ideally HRIS/HCM platforms.
  • Ability to configure and deploy end‑to‑end HRIS modules.
  • Strong understanding of HCM processes and workflows.
  • Proficiency in SQL and XML.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and clients.
  • Strong facilitation skills for workshops and client sessions.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with one or more of the following systems: Salesforce, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Kronos, Workbrain/Infor, RedPrairie/JDA, Ultimate, Oracle HR/Payroll, Ceridian DayForce (preferred).
  • Experience in business process mapping; change management experience is a plus.
