noris network AG is hiring a Datacenter Technician IT-Systems / Servicetechniker Rechenzentrum (m/w/d) to ensure the reliable operation of our hardware infrastructure. You will join a company of more than 500 employees and be responsible for hands-on technical work within our data center in Nuremberg.
What You'll Do
- Ensure disturbance-free hardware operation.
- Install, remove, configure, and cable hardware within the data center.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the CMDB.
- Carry out IT-related projects.
- Install, remove, and cable network components.
- Independently manage and coordinate external service providers.
- Participate in on-call duty.
What We're Looking For
- A high level of customer service understanding.
- Career changers with IT understanding and manual dexterity are welcome.
- Team player with high motivation and a willingness to learn and perform.
- Class B driver's license.
- Proficient use of MS Office.
Nice to Have
- Successfully completed vocational training as a Fachinformatiker for system integration, IT-Systemelektroniker, in electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience.
- Knowledge in the network and server area (TCP/IP).
- English language skills.
