Bullhorn is hiring a Database Administrator

Bullhorn is looking for a problem-solving Database Administrator to join our team. You will manage a large, distributed database environment utilizing MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB for a global customer base. Your primary focus will be ensuring the 24/7 availability, security, and performance of our production systems.

What You'll Do

• Install, design, and maintain database system software while implementing database security.
• Provide support on all stages of database implementation and related deployments and maintenances.
• Run diagnostic tools to identify performance bottlenecks and take corrective actions to improve database performance.
• Work with development teams to tune and optimize queries.
• Troubleshoot performance and non-performance related issues independently or with other DBAs.
• Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure 24/7 availability, security, and integrity of the production application environment.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years MS SQL Server Scripting experience.
• 1+ years of MySQL experience.
• 1+ years in a DB support role within a 24x7 production environment.
• DB patching and upgrade skills in a production environment.
• Experience in a cloud environment like AWS or Azure.

Nice to Have

• Experience maintaining a high-volume, mission-critical application in a SaaS environment.
• Experience with Windows Server administration.
• Experience with Powershell and/or Python scripting.
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• General SQL query tuning and database performance optimization experience.
• SQL Server High Availability and clustering experience.
• Experience with GCP.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000.
