We're seeking an experienced MongoDB Database Administrator to optimize, secure, and scale our database infrastructures with high availability and performance standards. As a Database Administrator, you will: - Manage and maintain multiple database servers across environments using Atlas and Ops Manager, ensuring consistent performance - Design & implement redundancy and fail-over strategies - Monitor database performance, tune and identify improvement areas - Configure and maintain replica sets and sharded clusters supporting scalability - Define and implement backup strategies aligned with data retention requirements - Optimize queries and indexing strategies - Enforce data security best practices, including access control and encryption - Diagnose and resolve production issues with 24x7 availability - Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures - Develop documentation for maintenance, monitoring, migration processes - Utilize automation tools to streamline database management Required Qualifications: - Extensive experience with large distributed database systems - Proven expertise in MongoDB scaling across data centers - In-depth understanding of NoSQL Data Modeling - Strong knowledge of database performance and scaling concepts - Unix/Linux shell scripting capabilities - Engineering degree or equivalent professional experience - Self-motivated with adaptability to emerging database technologies - Ability to operate independently and collaboratively - Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills - Comfort working in fast-paced, dynamic environments We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, continuous learning opportunities, and a supportive, inclusive workplace committed to professional growth.
