NewPage Solutions Inc is looking for a Data Visualization Specialist to collaborate with teams, stakeholders, and engineers in designing and building accurate data visualizations from multiple data sources. These visualizations will support critical decision-making across services, including analyzing ticket trends and guiding data acquisition strategies.
What You'll Do
- Engage with other teams, key stakeholders, and internal engineers to discover, design, and build accurate data visualizations
- Build new data visualizations
- Fix data issues
- Showcase work to stakeholders and teams
- Participate in short weekly planning meetings
- Engage in quarterly 1-1 meetings with Line Manager for personal growth
- Collaborate asynchronously within a distributed team
- Work with a Service Manager on planning and prioritization
- Maintain high standards in work quality, delivery practices, testing, and documentation
- Deliver work in a stable and sustainable manner with predictability
- Avoid rushing or cutting corners due to unreasonable deadlines
What We're Looking For
- Experience with Tableau – Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, Tableau Server
- Data warehouse modelling, dimension modelling, star schema
- Working with ETL systems
- Attention to detail when it comes to visual presentation and data accuracy
- Comfortable with using GitHub
- Kanban delivery – experience working with lean methods

- Some experience with AWS – especially Redshift, Glue and S3
