UBS Group AG is looking for a Data Scientist to join our Global Pricing team in Wroclaw. You will build new pricing analyses and solutions, collaborating closely with pricing experts, business stakeholders, and senior leadership within the Asset Management Client Coverage organization.
What You'll Do
- Build new pricing analyses and solutions using R, Python, SQL, R Shiny, AKS, and Azure OpenAI.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of pricing experts, data scientists, users, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Manage projects independently, communicating progress and thinking critically.
- Deliver training and support for the tools and solutions you build.
- Gather, integrate, analyze, interpret, and visualize pricing-related information from multiple data sources.
- Conduct quantitative analyses to inform pricing decisions.
What We're Looking For
- Studies in mathematics, economics, quantitative finance, or computational science / information technology.
- Proven experience with data-focused coding in R and/or Python.
- Proficiency in data extraction using SQL.
- Hands-on experience with statistics and data analysis.
- A genuine interest in financial markets, numbers, models, and products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- An autonomous, diligent, and detail-oriented work style.
- Fluency in English.
Nice to Have
- Advanced knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with R Shiny or similar web frameworks.
- Familiarity with Azure, AKS, or OpenAI models.
