Tiger Analytics is hiring a Data Scientist to lead our Pricing and Promotion Optimization team. You will drive product strategy development and execution for a key CPG client, applying advanced data science to enhance their pricing and promotional initiatives.

What You'll Do

Apply data science to solve business problems in the optimization space for a CPG client.
Communicate analytics approaches and how they meet business objectives to partners.
Create, manage, and communicate a clear product roadmap and strategic vision aligned with business goals.
Design and implement quarterly plans aligned with product goals, KPIs, and timelines.
Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of 5-6 members.
Define and implement an optimization framework for pricing and promotional strategies.
Work closely with internal Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Analytics teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities.
Track and analyze key product metrics to ensure success and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with and coach a team of experienced Data Scientists.
Stay connected with external ideas through conferences and community engagements.
Support demands from regulators, investor relations, and other stakeholders with innovative solutions.

What We're Looking For

10+ years of Data Science experience.
8+ years in product management with a focus on pricing, promotions, or optimization.
Graduate Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience managing a team and leading product initiatives.
Skilled in creating product roadmaps, setting priorities, and executing strategic plans.
Strong data analysis skills with experience in pricing strategies and optimization.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
A bias for action with the ability to deliver outstanding results through prioritization and time management.
A proactive, curious, can-do attitude with a flexible personality.

Nice to Have

Experience in Azure environments and Databricks.

Team & Environment

You will lead a cross-functional team of 5-6 members.
