About Us
We aim to empower small businesses by providing accessible financial tools through platforms they already use. Traditional banking systems often fail these businesses, so we build technology that simplifies access to funding, spend management, and savings via integrations with major platforms. We handle underwriting, capital markets complexity, compliance, and customer support for our partners. Our team includes professionals from Stripe, Square, Plaid, Coinbase, Robinhood, and CERN, backed by leading investors including Redpoint Ventures, Ribbit Capital, and Thrive Capital. We are a Series C company with over $194M in equity and $340M in debt financing.
The Data Science Team
Data is central to our mission of expanding financial access for small businesses. Our partnerships and lending activity generate deep insights into small business financial behavior, enabling fair, automated, and scalable financial services. As we grow, our data assets grow in scope and depth, increasing our ability to positively impact customers and business outcomes.
Our Team
Our culture values data-driven curiosity, critical thinking, and mutual respect—shaped in part by two PhD-trained data scientists among our founders. Team members bring diverse academic backgrounds in physics, mathematics, bioengineering, economics, financial engineering, and electrical engineering, along with professional experience from Robinhood, Uber, Lyft, Airbnb, Faire, Segment, Facebook, and Google. We prioritize first-principles reasoning, precision, and high-quality execution.
Our Work
We advance the company’s success by leveraging rich data from our platform. Our team collaborates closely with leadership across departments to drive measurable impact. Key focus areas for this role include Growth, Portfolio Monitoring & Servicing, and Infrastructure. Specific initiatives within each area are outlined to guide project work.
