At Medable, we are dedicated to making this world a healthier place through innovation. We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing algorithms for data transfers and compliance reports to measure clinical trial performance.
What You'll Do
- Develop and integrate algorithms for data transfers, compliance reports, and other analyses useful for measuring clinical trial performance.
- Present information in a statistically valid and impactful way using data visualization techniques and tools such as R Shiny, Looker, and SpotFire.
- Represent the Data Science team in internal and external meetings to discuss data transfer and report requirements.
- Support Data Science process improvement activities under the guidance of Senior Data Scientists.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years working in a Data Science, Statistics, or Programming role or a combination of education and experience.
- Highly analytical with a strength for analysis, math, and statistics.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in data processing and mining.
- Analytical mind and business acumen.
- Problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident in data storytelling.
- Knowledge of the drug development industry and the role data plays in clinical trials.
- Proficiency in R, Python, SQL, and SAS required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
