Responsibilities

- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate data pipelines
- Evaluate data quality and develop methods for cleaning and normalization
- Apply machine learning techniques to predict outcomes in clinical trials
- Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations
- Support the development of data visualizations for stakeholder reporting
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and anomalies
- Work with real-world evidence and electronic health record data
- Develop reproducible analytical workflows using version-controlled code
- Participate in defining data strategy and long-term research goals
- Assist in validating algorithms used in clinical decision-making
- Stay current with advancements in data science and healthcare analytics
- Document methodologies and results for internal and external review
- Use programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis
- Partner with clinical experts to interpret domain-specific challenges
- Build forecasting models for patient recruitment and trial duration
- Support audit readiness for data processes in regulated environments
- Contribute to technical design discussions for data platform enhancements
Nice to Have
- PhD in a quantitative field with focus on health data
- Experience with real-world data sources such as claims or EHRs
- Familiarity with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)
- Knowledge of clinical data standards like CDISC
- Cloud certification in AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience deploying models into production systems
- Background in Bayesian statistics or causal inference
- Prior work in digital health or clinical technology
- Contributions to open-source data science projects
- Publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals
