Boehringer Ingelheim is looking for a Data Science Intern to join our program designed for students and recent graduates eager to learn within the pharmaceutical industry. You will develop technical, analytical, and communication skills while becoming familiar with the tools and methodologies used in our professional data analysis environments.
What You'll Do
- Support the collection, cleaning, and analysis of data from various sources.
- Participate in the development of predictive and classification models using machine learning techniques.
- Visualize data to facilitate the interpretation of results and support decision-making.
- Learn to automate analysis processes using scripts in Python or R.
- Participate in team meetings for problem definition and presentation of results.
- Help document the processes and results obtained during projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their data needs and propose solutions.
What We're Looking For
- University Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a similar field.
- Programming knowledge in Python or R.
- Handling of data analysis tools such as Pandas, NumPy, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of machine learning and applied statistics.
- A good level of SQL.
- Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of Git and version control.
- Analytical ability, critical thinking, proactivity, and a desire to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments, with strong organization and time management.
- Curiosity to explore new technologies and methodologies.
- High level of Spanish and English.
- Availability to start on April 24, 2026 and the possibility of a 12-month internship agreement.
