Aristocrat is looking for a Data QA Engineer to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our data products, maintaining trustworthiness in data transmission, visual displays, and analytical offerings. This critical role operates in a collaborative environment where your contributions directly impact gaming experiences.
What You'll Do
- Execute manual testing of data pipelines, dashboards, and SQL queries for validation.
- Design and maintain automated test cases for data pipeline validation using SQL and Python.
- Test data transformations from ingestion through model layers (e.g., dbt, Snowflake).
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define test plans and acceptance criteria.
- Contribute to test documentation and QA processes.
- Identify and report data issues, anomalies, and inconsistencies proactively.
- Work within Agile sprints and participate in story grooming and retrospectives.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in QA with a strong background in manual testing.
- At least 1+ years working on data-centric or analytics projects.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating large datasets.
- Experience validating ETL/ELT workflows or dashboards.
- Exceptional attention to detail with outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ease in a cooperative, Agile setting.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Python or similar languages for test automation.
Technical Stack

- Power BI (read/test level), JIRA, Xray
- Airflow (read/debug level), Git-based workflows
- Familiarity with test case management tools or BDD frameworks
