As a Data QA Associate, you'll play a key role in transforming raw receipt data into reliable business insights. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the integrity of data through meticulous cleaning, labeling, and validation processes sourced from email panels and AI-generated datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, categorize, and clean data with high accuracy, maintaining consistency across merchant and vendor records.
- Track and interpret trends in transactional data, identifying shifts in volume or patterns that may signal anomalies.
- Investigate irregularities such as sudden data fluctuations and resolve issues in coordination with engineering and data teams.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in China and the U.S., ensuring alignment on data standards and quality benchmarks.
- Respond promptly to internal and client-driven data requests while adhering to strict confidentiality and security protocols.
What You Bring
- A bachelor’s degree and up to two years of experience in data analysis or quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience with data cleaning, tagging, or regular expressions (Regex).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with proven ability to communicate across cultural and time zone differences.
Nice to Have
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with Excel, SQL, or Python for basic data analysis.
- Understanding of accounting categories and experience with ERP platforms like NetSuite, Ramp, or QuickBooks Online (QBO).
