Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is looking for a Data Modeler to design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support complex business requirements and shape enterprise data strategies. You'll collaborate directly with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure our data structures meet evolving reporting, analytics, and integration needs.

What You'll Do

Work with business and technical SMEs to understand data consumption and reporting needs.
Analyze source system structures and map data elements to common data models.
Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical schemas across acquisition, integration, and analytical layers.
Collaborate with ETL teams on data mappings, conversion rules, and integration solutions.
Support data model version control and ensure consistency across environments.
Coordinate with offshore developers and testers to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Provide guidance on best practices for database design and optimization in cloud or on-premise environments.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in data modeling using tools such as Erwin or similar.
Strong expertise in SQL, Oracle, or appliance databases.
Hands-on experience with BI technologies including ETL, reporting, and data quality.
Solid understanding of database design principles and data integration best practices.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

Experience designing and developing cloud-based solutions in Azure or AWS.
